Re: ESPEasy v2.0.0-dev13

Hi,
Are there .bin files available for v2.0.0. I can't seem to find them, the only ones I can find are mega .bin's.

Regards
Sailesh

flickering/pulsing lights with wall switch

Hello all, I need some help. I have a Sonoff basic running espeasy. I wanted to be able to control the relay using a standard toggle wall switch (the UK kind), so i've extended Ground and gpio14 to the wall switch but I've also added a 4.7k resistor between 3.3 and gpio14. Its to control 8 LED down ...

Re: 2 way switching with Sonoff basic

After much reading, I found that I had to add a resistor between 3.3v and GPIO14, I soldered in a 4.7k resistor, and now all seems to be working perfectly.

Re: 2 way switching with Sonoff basic

Hi Yes, both switches are the latching (toggle) type and I've attached screenshots of the device settings. I've had a bit more of a play and the symtoms are strange. The light turns on/off just fine via http, The light turn on/off just fine using the main switch (switch closest to the light) The lig...

2 way switching with Sonoff basic

Hello everyone. I need help. I have installed a Sonoff basic in a 2 way switching setup. I can switch the light on/off over http, but when I use the physical switch, the Sonoff flicks on and off. I found a video on YouTube which explained the wording setup I took a snapshot and attached it. I have 2...

Everything was working perfectly until 2 days ago when my wife said she noticed a very brief (around a couple of seconds) power cut or power disterbance. All my appliances are working fine but when I tried to turn ...

Re: Sonoff Basic - AP not apearing on first boot with pre-built BIN

Just an update.
Shorting tx/Rx didn't work for me.. I had to use the espTool from
Espressif. There is an option to clear the chip which worked. I then used Arduino IDE to load EspEasy on again.
Phew!

Oh and my unit also came from China... Took about 3weeks to deliver to my home in the UK.

Re: Sonoff Basic - AP not apearing on first boot with pre-built BIN

Thanks Shardan
I'll give this a go when I get home. Incidentally...Do you have any idea what kind of response I should get from the on board LEDs when doing this?

Re: Sonoff Basic - AP not apearing on first boot with pre-built BIN

Hello all I have a Sonoff S20 which I've read is almost identical to the Sonoff basic. I'm able to upload espeasy but as with others.. there's no AP. There's a twist to this story though... As I did manage to get it up before.. This is what happend: Tested the original unit with EWelink - all was ok...

Re: WPA2 weakness discovered (KRACK)

+1 but also there are a few other things I would like to see implemented too 1) Masking of the WPA2 password 2) Use of HTTPs rather than HTTP (though I'm not sure if this is possible) re: KRACK the only thing I can think of to reduce the chances of this exploit happening, is to disable SSID broadcas...
