Current releases are too big for OTA (2 step procedure for 1Mb units). We need to rethink how to support those units. So if you reboot (cold boot), it should start a search for wifi with the set SSID/password. I can definitely say this doesn't seem to be what is happening. All my APs have the same SSID. It’s been apparent to me (and many other readers) for a long time that ESPEasy is not the product for you. It simply isn’t going to have the level of stability, and support, you need for your application.

Are you attempting to flash a dout build?
Are you flashing the intermediate image first?
You cannot flash a new firmware directly due to its size. You need the megaOTAUploader to do it.
You will likely have to flash directly using the serial interface.

On all my 4CH Pros the red LEDs light up on reboot -- some all 3, some just 2. No idea why. I just do this: on System#Boot do GPIO,12,0 GPIO,15,0 GPIO,5,0 GPIO,4,0 endon in my rules to reset them. Removing the board_flash_mode parameter from the intermediate firmware build yields a firmware.bin that will not boot whatsoever (no activity on the serial port).
