Did you set the baud rate in Termite to 115200 ?
Are you seeing any 'Readable Text' in Termite ?

Connect to Serial Monitor program, then power up S20, you should see output
The LEDs are not pre-configured in the firmware..
If you have serial output - set the wifi via serial, then you should be able to use web-interface

An antenna is a great idea.
An extra access point made from an old router is maybe the easiest.
An ESP module can even be made into an access point with special firmware, but can not beat a proper one

danielo111 the solution provided by arion_p will do exactly as you ask however,
it shouldn't be a problem, recent releases have Wifi connectivity issues & those problems are being worked on..
You could post an Issue over on Github or try an older firmware

Great your first successful OTA update ? awesome.. To test the error you do need to try & change something tiny in the config... Then click Submit, it is at this point you 'may' see the error writing config again.. (Actually changing nothing, but simply click "Submit" should work too) ...

Tasmota firmware works fine 99.9%, but the timer cycles are not internal & are dependant on a back-end such as Domoticz to fire the cycles & then Domoticz rules to then stop the pump.. And of course a constant WiFi signal... The 'Tasmota way' simply has more points of failure than something ...

My solution was to use one of the 4 email address supplied by my by ISP
to send the email using port 25 to my gmail account..
So my IoT devices have their own 'sending email' address
