I had a similar problem and found out that it had to use 7 character codes: 10; RTS; 1234567; 0123; PAIR; instead of 10; RTS; 123456; 0123; PAIR; Same with control 10; RTS; 1234567; 0; DOWN; Interestingly, in RFlink I can only see 6 digits, but only the same length works as during pairing.
