On their Homepage they claim "Directionality support".

Is it possible to detect if someone is moving from left to right or right to left?
I'd need something to check if someone enters or leaves a room.

You're doing it Wrong!

Do it exactly as it says and flash Tasmota.
When you have Tasmota Running you can simply "update" Tasmota to a ESPeasy build via "Firmware Upgrade" button in the WebUI.

That worked on the last Shelly Switch i had.

all 3 modules which i have do have a HORRIBLE coile whine in deep sleep.
It's a rellay annoying high beeeeep sound. During Sleep more.
So i cannot recommend these thingys to anyone.

Ohoooo Optional Single-shot measurements (take 5 seconds) (only with an SCD41) Does that mean a battery powered device would actually be feasible with this thingy? Or does it need a "pre-heating" time of 15-120 seconds when disconnected from power? Just ordered one and gonna join the fun :)

tried to resolder the bridge.... didnt work.. so yeah... guess i'll have -1 device ^^

P.S Tried the "Alternative Deepsleep" mode.

had a 2nd device laying around.... Soldered the DeelSleep pin and flashed blank 2m file then same file again, no settings yet, only did Sleep and it works!

Gonna load Config and try again afterwards.

i was hoping that Disabling Serial in the Web Interface would solve the problem easily. But sadly it doesn't :( Short sidenote... Serial doesn't even need to be connected, only Opening ESP.Easy.Flasher.exe already makes it work. Changed the Baud Rate to 74880 in Web Interface.. so no Bogus data... t...

Back to the Original Question..... What would be the best Firmware to flash on this thingy. According to this thread they did NOT include Resistors on the A0 and battery, therefore Analog Input is still usable but you can't measure Voltage of the battery... Kinda stupid IMHO but hey maybe someone ne...

i'd really recoomend using an external ADS1115 ADC.
The internal one will give streched values when battery voltage drops to 3.5V and lower!

i checked with a digital Multimeter. Voltage is around 238V-240V Normal should be around 230V here in switzerland. So that is correct. Lightbulbs are not used anymore here, we only got LED's and stuff, thats energy saving 5W so not really usefull. The Toaster is a great idea. Sadly our toaster broke...

So i got this NX-SM400 which according to Tasmota is similar to the Gosund SP1 which has an included Template. Sadly OTA didn't work, Tuya firmware to new and not yet cracked so i had to Serial Flash it. ( Guide in Portuguese but Pictures show everything needed) There is an 8285 POW Build which work...

Anyway you can use the Tuya Convert https://github.com/ct-Open-Source/tuya-convert utility to flash any .bin, not only Tasmota, OTA into many ESP 8266 based device produced by the Tuya OEM, so flashing ESP-Easy should be no problem. That is a great idea i didn't even think about! Thanks a lot mate.

on another note... I've switched from using Rules to simply polling the same sensor twice. (Seriously didn't expect that to work in the beginning^^) The first half day was without Deepsleep. And polling every 5 Minutes. Battery drops rapidly. The second part was with 300sec Deep sleep waking for 1 s...

So i did another quick Run, using 53s Sleep 1s awake (realtime 7 seconds) which is perfect 1 Minute intervals. Ran for 6 Days 1 hour 20 minutes which would be 8720 Minutes aka 8720 Wakeups. Simply upscaling with a 10 Minute Interval that should easily get 2 Months Battery life. https://i.imgur.com/g...

Yeah, thats if you use the app in the package from mediafire. If you use the new Google Playstore app "RuiDeng" it works without hanging. But whenever you try to save data it says you don't have an app that works with this files ^^ No clue where the Voltage drop suddenly came from.... But ...
