Re: DS18B20 Long Cables
hey guys :) for me this 1kOhm pullup definitive work, I connected the ESP8266 today and it worked straight away! I have an 10m line on the controller then a Stub of 2m with 1x sensor, then 20m line down in the ground. @seb82 I also tested with a 100nf capacitor and a 100uf, but that didn't work for ...

DS18B20 Long Cables
Hello A few months ago I made a couple of ESP8266 boards (Looky Wifi), many times I had problems with the DS18B20 Sensors. Now i have a Project where a DS18B20 Sensor is 20 Meters Deep in the Ground, the Reading of this sensor was not possible, i got only Read errors. At home I connect...

Re: LOOKY L WIFI
I tested the digital input, wanted to know how high the frequency can be measured. https://youtu.be/kLDFesXSjzo Tested on: ESP_Easy_mega_20210114_test_beta_ESP8266_4M1M 10 Active Tasks! 300 HZ it works fine 500 HZ it works, but signal begining to distortion 800 HZ still works 999 HZ still works :) T...

Re: LOOKY L WIFI
OK the RS485 will never work, theMAX485CSA+T Needs 5V Power but on the board, the chip is only powered with 3.3v
But no problem in the next version i will use MAX3485ESA+
I've ordered a couple of MAX3485ESA+ and will test them on breadboard.

Re: LOOKY L WIFI
Yes, GPIO 15 Control "Relay1" or RS485 "RE" and "DE", you can select this via Jumper.
One of the "hardware" bugs is that I connected the TX RX form ESP8266 directly to the RS485 Chip, so you canot flash de ESP if it is in the circuit.

Re: LOOKY L WIFI
Nope, only the one Digital Input is isolated.
really at the last moment i integrated the rs485 chip in the circuit diagram. I think the circuit should be sufficient to read an electricity meter. but i haven't tried it yet.
