Just out of curiosity, are the devices consistent, rebooting at similar times or are they all over the place? Have you tried a control with something like the old stable V120?
Do you have a syslog server you can send everything to see what is happening?

I could be wrong here, if the value is 100 for dry and 0 for water, could the formula not do something like 100 - value? 100 become 0 and 0 becomes 100

By the way which sensor is it? I am always looking for a better soil moisture sensor.

The software you can probably figure out from the arduino code in the docs, but the hardware would be in the forum or you would have to ask and perhaps they can tell you if the design can handle 19A ...

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Python 2.7.16 to verify and it does not have the option to set path in the installer. I do remember selecting that option on one of the many tries and it had the same error. I have it working on Linux now, and it is building as long as I do not build env:normal_ESP...

While I do use a Raspberry Pi for testing, they are a bit limited. I find Linux on an old laptop makes a much better production environment.
However I also have plans for several Raspberry pi powered devices, Touch screen controllers, remote displays and network music players.

Well it is a ESP32 based LoPy. Power is coming from the computer, but that could be part of the problem. I will see if I can figure out how fix that and get a copy of the log file.
