Sozkara thanks for the protocol! So how is the reliability now with the new bulbs?
Each bulb has its own IP probably and you can control it with that right? So you can address each bulb separately right?

Re: H801 : RGB controller based on ESP8266 avalaible from China
Very interesting! Btw would it be possible to somehow be able to control this bulb either via physical switch or via wifi? Like that it still turns on with flick of physical switch?

Re: New ESP gadget
Since the Sonoff is fairly small, Would you guys think it would be possible to stick it inside the case of those 433Mhz sockets, with their internals removed and replaced by the Sonoff. Maybe I would also unsolder the button from the Sonoff and fit it on the outside of the Socket's case so I could a...

Requesting support for APDS9960 Gesture sensor -> here is demo video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPDBZUztAhY and in the description of this video you can find a link to a japanese site where you can download the sketch for the sensor. The sketch doesn't use interrupts as far as I can see, so its...

No no I think you need to use Neopixelbus library by Makuna on github. Sticilface uses that one not the original adafruit one.

Very cool! So would it be possible to display 8 things on an lcd (maybe on two pages) 20x4?
Namrida any chance you could upload the compiled bins (maybe with this mod for 8 things displayed) with this plugin somewhere. Would really appreciate it.

Martinus so lets take a real-life example 4 Esps, one is only with lcd display, 2 Esps are indoors with 3 sensors each. One is outdoors with also 3 sensors connected to it. Some explanation of upcoming feature
So in upcoming feature list i found this very nice feature is coming #10 - Send sensor value to other ESP units with LCD (R86) Is it for MQTT too? So if some sensor nodes around the house are sending MQTT messages around this node with lcd (or presumably also oled?) can pick them up and display them...

It says in the readme under Supported platforms: ESP8266 using the arduino board definitions from http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json So it seems it supports ESP8266, also here a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGXInPlnvYc And here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3...

Guys I think the best way would be to use the FastLED library, it supports esp8266 out of the box and has a big community online. And this library support different variety of leds so it would be cool to support multiple types at once. See here under supported platforms: https://github.com/FastLED/F...

Well dunno, I think it could be used that way too...It could be an option, since probably the main use case of an ultrasonic sensor would be detection of an object infront of it :). Ultrasonic sensor question
For the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor - would it be possible to make an option in the code, that the ESP would send a MQTT message 1 if object besides the sensor was present (for example car in a garage) and 0 if the object wasn't present. So basically send MQTT message 1 (or something else) if object i...

LCD-MQTT-display non-local
Would it be possible to somehow display values from ESP Easy nodes around the house on a separate 16x2 lcd+esp8266, which would be used just for visualization. The thing is I hooked up a PIR sensor a DS-temp sensor and a i2c lcd to my Wemos D1 mini and it started to restart itself once and awhile......

There is, because the Souliss protocol is nice only for the Souliss-android app...But what about other controllers, for them MQTT would be needed. I would like for the nodes to speak both protocols.
