The ping/pong part is used by controlling software (domoticz/HA) to check if the RFLink is still alive.
It does not say anything about the RF module itself.

Re: Particular devices' signals are not getting picked by RFLink

Thats an expensive piece of hardware. For such prices I would have moved to some zigbee or wifi switches that offer 2 way communications.. Anyway, I dont know these sets yet. The frequency indeed seems to be 433.92 and the modulation type would be OOK. Both are supposed to work with the RFLink setup...

It might (or not) be helpful to know that the serial number of the shutter's motor is 7062541009013. Correct, I identified the serial number, button crontrol an...

Hi, Zaffer might have some projects that are based on Zigbee. However.. the packets listed in the previous posts are NOT Zigbee. They are indeed regular ASK packets. I have sorted out all the data inside the packets and identified most of the bits within the packets. However, I do not have enough in...

Alternatively you could try the rffind option.. (https://www.rflink.nl/faq.php#RFFind)

Re: Phenix remote control, how to use ?

I have no idea what the dipswitches are reflecting.
I have tested with commands like:
10;AB400D;00004d;1;OFF;
10;AB400D;00004d;1;ON;

Where 4D is the hexadecimal value of a ascii character which is supposedly set with your dip switches
So I guess:
10;AB400D;000042;2;ON;
10;AB400D;000042;2;OFF;

Re: Why is updating intervall so unreliable for some devices?

Nothing really wrong at RFlink's side but more a side effect from the ASK modulation and the way the transmitters work. RFlink is listening to radio signals. It will receive whatever comes by.. however, there can only be 1 signal at a single moment in time. The more devices you have that are transmi...

Hi,

As far as I know, RFlink does not work with Jung devices at 868 mhz.
Btw, it is not just the frequency that plays a part, it is also the modulation type that is important and if rolling codes/encryption is used.

Re: RSSI info / provide signal strength

It is nice to have the signal strength.
However, it would need to be accessible on one of the RF pins to go forward.
If the pin does provide the signal and we can get hold of the value by adding a capacitor or other extra hardware then it would indeed be a nice addition.

The zaffer signal as shown in post nr 1 originates from a regular RF signal, meaning it is not zigbee. The signal is clean but does contain something that looks like a counter or rolling code. It would require more packets, also from the other buttons, to determine what is possible in terms of integ...

The debug data posted above is not correct.
You are missing a large part of the actual debug data.
Also, when you see Pulses=460 the data behind it should contain at least 460 values and 460 comma's

Also note that when a rolling code is involved, it complicates things a lot.

You can see pulses on a scope, but if these pulses do not provide a clean signal then it could just be noise and will not result in any debug data.
Also, do no use the unhandled mode, just use the debug mode.
