I realize this is not really ESP related at all. But... For information, just in case someone else runs into the same situation: my Raspberry had a config.txt file in the boot directory, with a line that specifically disables Bluetooth.... Switched on the "use NTP" field, left the host name field empty (as suggested).
After a while I notice the date/time is 2036-02-07 07:12:37....

Are you sure the idx is filled in correctly? In the screenshot I see IDX=1, highly unlikely...!

Do you see it coming into the Domoticz log at all? So many things could be wrong, you need to take it step by step.
First, check the controller settings. Are other values coming into Domoticz, or is this the only one?
Next, check the Domoticz log.
If you see something coming in there, check the idx.

Changed my approach.
In stead of putting the logic into each and every ESP unit, it is much easier to control it from Domoticz.
The ESP needs a small rule: an extremely simple event that contains the Reboot command. Then trigger that event from Domoticz LUA.

Ah, got it.
The correct syntax is:

if %uptime%>3114

So now all I need to do is set a safe boudary value to prevent running into the 49-days problem... This will be a good workaround, until the moment I decide to upgrade to a higher build level.
