They shouldn't be giving you that (zero reading). I will ask my colleagues once I get back to work. Did you have a chance to discuss this with them? After returning from my vacation I switched the unit on. It has been on for about five days now, and the sensor still reads zero... :( And if possible...

After returning from my vacation I switched the unit on. It has been on for about five days now, and the sensor still reads zero... :(

I think the problem is getting the basic BlueTooth controller to work. When I use btmgmt and try a scan, it complains that there is no default controller available. Does this mean hardware?

If you use ESPEasy to drive the valve you may use a MOSFET or a relay to switch the valve. Remember valve and relay are using coils so a freewheeling diode is mandatory to avoid damage. OK, I entered an actual IP addres (85.255.214.66), and now it gets me the correct date/time. So that means that working with a URL (nslookup nl.pool.ntp.org) does not work, but a resolved IP does. I am using ESPEasy Mega build mega-20180710.
Switched on the "use NTP" field, left the host name field empty (as suggested).
After a while I notice the date/time is 2036-02-07 07:12:37....

Did I configure it wrong, or have we invented a time machine? :D :D :D

Do you see it coming into the Domoticz log at all? So many things could be wrong, you need to take it step by step.
First, check the controller settings. Are other values coming into Domoticz, or is this the only one?
Next, check the Domoticz log.
If you see something coming in there, check the idx.

Changed my approach.
In stead of putting the logic into each and every ESP unit, it is much easier to control it from Domoticz.
The ESP needs a small rule: an extremely simple event that contains the Reboot command. Then trigger that event from Domoticz LUA. :)

Ah, got it.
The correct syntax is:

if %uptime%>3114

So now all I need to do is set a safe boudary value to prevent running into the 49-days problem... This will be a good workaround, until the moment I decide to upgrade to a higher build level.
