In theory it is possible, but at the moment ESPEasy only supports air conditioners in one plug in. There is another IR plug in, but I don't know anything about it. There are other devices around like the Broadlink series, but I have found that they don't support all the functions on my air condition...

No. I was purely putting in a link to the information, so that when someone else comes across the thread they are directed to the solution.

Sorry I should have said, it is Release mega-20181030.
I am sure there was a thread about using the 9 gram servos and them burning out or consuming a lot of power when they were not engaged. It sounds like this update might fix this problem.

Just an update on this. I was able to flash the Wemos D1 mini with the blank 4MB image and then flash with one of the dev versions. This worked well in the end.

Maximum sleep time is a bit over 1 hour.
Awake times depends on what systems and network you are using. I am using around 15 seconds. Ultimately only testing will tell you how short a time you can use. On many networks the awake time can be reduced by setting a fixed IP address.

Such a pity the Broadlink RM Mini WIFI IR Sender doesn't have an ESP8266 or ESP32 in it.
It is almost tempting to pull it apart and replace the current micro controller with an ESP8266. The case and LED configuration is quite good.

I am not aware of any bug fix for that. The DHT22 is a very basic (cheap) sensor, so that is why I suspect the problem is with the sensor. If you can't easily relocate the sensor, an alternative might be to create a rule to reboot the device if the humidity is too high. That might not be an option o...

If the sensor really is at 99.9% humidity then that could be causing problems in itself. 99.9% implies it is actually wet and that could mean short circuits or abnormal mode that is only cleared by a reboot.
