Well, if it is a button, one can most likely desolder it if this causes the signal issue then. But definitely, the comparison for signal strenght would be helpful.

So a pull-up resistor connected between GPIO 0 and 2 respectively and VCC of 1K, right?
Would it allow DHT11 and relay steered by 2N2222 transistor to still work as expected?

One use case would be display current time on LCD/OLED coming from NTP.
But that would require separate update timer for that plugin, compared to others.
