It might be a result of moving functions from Time.h library into Misc.ino sketch.
It would be nice to be able to get that information and even send it to Domoticz or onto status webpage I am thinking of (where ping results from various nodes and status info would be collected).

One use case would be display current time on LCD/OLED coming from NTP.
But that would require separate update timer for that plugin, compared to others.

Actually not - been too busy creating a node to control Christmas tree and outside lightning :) So I have only spotted it, together with some other stuff and at first glance I was unable to understand it, so I have asked :) If you intend to remove it, then there is no point in analysig it :(

I have just flashed a brand new ESP-12E and it is running fine.
If you mean, your's does not connect after pressing Reboot button on the board or by manually powering it off and on - mine is running fine.
