I got adaptors that give anything from 4.7V to 5.4V. For ESP devices that are driven by 5 V a range from 4,7...5,4 V is completely OK - if there are real 4,7..5,4V!! If you want a reliable and cheap progger, chose one with a CP2102 or a CH340 / CH340G. Just to be clear. The progger I got and that I linked to is CP2102 based. Here's a filtered search. And it looks quite nice and nice price too. Might be a next one for me if i break my progging cables again :)

The picture from krikk shows very impressively what DC current does.
It's easy to see that the left side is the "anode" size, loosing metal ions to the other side.
DC driven rain sensors are nice for experimenting. They are not made for permanent use.

I'm wondering why it is not working. I just have soldered a server room sensor prototype that includes a PIR sensor and tested it: . USIR-Sensor Frontside.jpg USIR-Sensor-Backside.jpg . It works quite nice without issues. The PIR runs on 5V, the output is directly connected to GPIO2. Regards Shardan

if you use the Standard Setup of the Arduino IDE the "Export compiled Binary" command
generates the .bin-Files in the source folder where the ESPEasy.ino-File resides.
