I think the rules are ok for simple timing setup, when it comes to more complex and/or weekly I prefer to move out from ESPeasy as it's not as flexible as needed and the rules can becaome way too complex and probably cosume lots of CPU. You can then have a timer that would detect a hold that is less than one second since the timer would allow to be sub secund. well I don't htink this will fix the problem, let me explain: I woudl like a long push to be triggered after 2 seconds I would like any time below 2 seconds to be recognized...

not sure I understood... do you want to have 2 devices communicate each other? or you have a single Wemos with both BMP280 and TM1637? if it's the second setup then you don't need to sendhttp to the same module but you should be able to use directly the command "7dt,[<sensor>#<value>]"

it depends how relays are connected, usually it's safer when using optocouplers to use reverse logic as you described 0=relay on, 1=relay off.
