What does it mean: failed to fetch
Feedback: I'm running a NodeMCU-V3 with mega-20180826. Sometimes I get the message "failed to fetch", but after that everything continues to work. Only sometimes not. This happens very rarely, only every some days or even some weeks. But today it happens twice in 6 hours. Then the message ...

Okay, seems to be possible. So it's not sure that the sequence is made like it's written inside the rules? I'll try to add another timer that ensures that the sequence is right. I'll report, but now I can't continue direct.

I control the watering up to now by FHEM with commands like http://192.168.xxx.xxx/control?cmd=Pulse,4,1,100 Later I will transfer the most part of the controlling in the rules of the NodeMCU and give only the impuls for the start from FHEM. Yes, this is an idea. But can I use more than 8 GPIO from one MCU? I use H bridges, because I use 4 valves. Later I want to use even more, if everything works fine. The sleep mode is somthing I need to learn about, right. Is it possible to use the sleep mode not time controlled but event controlled?...

This sensor is not like a switch, but gives a proper square wave signal. It probably uses a Hall sensor and a magnet. This means the debounce should not be needed at all. It could be there is some issue with the plugin, I haven't looked at its implementation yet, on how it is using this debounce fe...

Hi Werner,
I want to use some valves which work with pole changing mechanism and searching ho I can control this by ESPEasy. So I found your post. Can you give me some more details on your system - especially the hardware? It seems that you do exactly what I try to do.
Thank you,
alabama

Ok, the problem seems to be solved:
I reset the device by use of Arduino IDE, type "reset" in the serial monitor. Then I restart the device and the input of the controller-IP and port works.

No - use another browser don't help. The same result: The input of IP and port is not possible.
