If there is no WiFi, ESPEasy boots in the default IP but at AP mode so they do not associate with each other.
Where do you have the conflict ?

NTP, DST and Location settings work great for me in terms of time.

MCP23017 has been stable in ESP8266 for a long time now.

Yeah, i have a few Olimex ESP32-POE working stable on the eth builds.

I wish there was support for more Enviroment and switch (MCP23017) devices.
(Not sure how a GPS module is useful to a wired module)

Hello,

For output (mcpgpio,x,y) does not require to be set on any TASK you can just trigger it on demand.

For input you can set them on task but even that is not required if you monitor the pin on boot

Hello

RST : connect it to EPS gpio only if you have any reason to reset the MCP board. I never had the need.
ITA, ITB those are interrupt pins. You can safely ignore them.

A1 A2 A0 : are for the I2C address. No need to do anything if you only have 1 x MCP in the same I2C bus.

Unfortunately sendtohttp (thingspeak) does not work for me now no matter the "SendToHTTP wait for ack:" is enabled or not.
I tested with double quotes, either "Tolerant last parameter:" is enabled or not.

Also need to filter out off values. e.g ds18b20 often gets either a max (120?) or min (-60?) *C. Might want to filter those out as they will bump your 10 point avrg significantly
