Re: IR Transmitter ?
Gus Thanks for the wonderful detailed explanation that all makes sense now (i believe) so just one clarification, the two numbers you get are the end of it, are the averages of the pulse /blanks just to help shorten it? I have looked at both the spreadsheet and the new one created on page 8 and both...

Hey thanks for both of the reply it gives good insight Kirk I am a bit confused as to why you say its different? by looking at both of them it looks to be the same general layout of parts with LEDs resistors and I THINK the same chip. Re: h801 dead
Hello, if you run your stripes consuming 5..6 amperes it's no matter if you use 20N06L or LR024N. Both will run and both will blow when you short circuit an output. There is another reason why i wouldn't change to 20N06L, see down. Maybe a fuse in the cable to the outputs might be a better idea? ;)...

what i did was change it to selector, save it. flipped it on and off again a few times, then saved it as a dimmer again, still nothing.
Should I just resetup the entire switch? (id preferably not like to do that as I have quite a few of them) but i can if needed.

i was mainly wondering about the spiff size? You may use the Arduino ESP and compile a .bin File for the 8255-chip. In general it is an ESP8266 with internal 1024 kbyte memory so set the compiling parameters accordingly (Board type ESP-8255, memsize etc). i found this one however the pinout /layout ...
