I want to check if esp is still connected

having a looping trigger rule and wanted to check something like

wifi#connected=1
in an if statement.

but this is not working.

Log is not showing any hints to me.

how to use

I experienced an issue with chrome editiing rules.

sometime rule
- are not stored completely
- are not stored at all
- having an old / another content - former device, different rule #

when submitting


running chrome on ubuntu.

Hi thanks problem is, it will connect to wifi and bring up the the website. I always have a authorization error , even if I change IP via serial console either to dhcp or static. I changed everything - SSID - IP static / dhcp So I have to set the settings back to factory without website. Thanks Thomas

I tried to erase all setting because I had a constant wifi problem with the robotDyn d1r2

even after flashing bare 4 mb minimum wifi config is retained.

but how?

how to delete everything?

The reason of the disconnect is just a standard reason returned by the wifi layer. Some are given by the accesspoint and some caused by the "user" like an intentional disconnect. As far as I know, the "Auth expire" is something related to a expired session. What ESP are you usin...

Seems to be a capacitive switch. If so it is supported by the "switch" plugin. Did a bit of research. It seems that the chip on the board (Marking 8223) is similar to the well known TTP223. Maybe a remake from another company? From layout it is not an inductive sensor but I may err. Anywa...
