i just happen to made some changes to deepsleep in espeasy v2 yesterday, because i tought the code needed some improvement.

i didnt test it with input switches yet, but its possible it changed.

In the ESP Easy firmware it would be nice if the IP address of the ESP was dumped out the serial port on boot up after the IP address is assigned. I didnt test that, but the settings in the ESP will be lost if you upgrade from and older version to a v2.x.x version. (since settings storage is one of the main changes)

I also mailed Jerry of Itead to see if i can help their devs on working on sonof support.

I also offered to implement it myself if he sends me a bunch of Sonof pows to work with.

I think official Sonof support in espeasy is a good thing for both ESPEasy and Itead.

I understand the need for this. I also think the bootup is too slow in some cases.

It should enable default output settings as fast as possible, so that hardware is in an ok config while its still trying to connect.

Please post a feature request on the github issue tracker for this.

officially you would have to add

#define PLUGIN_BUILD_TESTING

to espeasy.ino to enable all testing plugins.

we still have to update documentation for this.

Your workaround should is fine as well if you only need this plugin.

I do, and I have updated the official repositories as well.

ESPEasy-platformio is just the build environment + libraries, but it still gets the sources from ESPEasy.

Yes the limit is 12. Try changing TASKS_MAX in ESPEasy.ino and recompile the project.

Did it still work with the original firmware.bin of R148? In that case, could you try this on ESPEasy-platformio: - goto src directory -do a git checkout R148. -build/upload again with platformio. Does that version work correctly? (this way we know if the problem is with the new platformio build env...
