Re: Wemos D1 with Wemos OLED shield and buttons.
They can be attached to about any GPIO via a solder bridge! That would be so cool if you could do that. If it controls the contrast then it could control the on or off state of the display.

Wemos D1 with Wemos OLED shield and buttons.
I am trying to figure out how to use the buttons on the side of the display shield. I would like to either send and MQTT command with a button press or use one button to wake up the display on a nightstand sensor. Maybe even 1 button to turn wake the display and the other to set the screen contrast ...

Re: would need to add date and some variables in the email notification
So, I am trying to set up a notifier to send email thru gmail. The options I see are as follows: Fully qualified domain name of SMTP service Configuration requirements smtp-relay.gmail.com Options: Port 25, 465, or 587 Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols. One or more s...

Re: How can I reboot ESPEasy using MQTT?
That did it! Now, need to find out if I can set up a topic collector in home assistant to grab the responses to verify the IP to name and set a button to reboot in the interface when I want to.

Re: How can I reboot ESPEasy using MQTT?
So, I am trying to make this work and can't even make it work with MQTTfx. I am subscribing to my HA server with # as my subsciption. I am publishing cmdMQTT/1, /cmdMQTT/1 and never see a response in MQTTfx nor do I see the value change in the devices list on the ESPEasy Wemos D1. I am seeing the ab...

Re: Wemos display question...
Ok, so I tried it. It works, but when I invert the display it gets odd. Normally at boot the screen says EASY ESP and has the wifi logo. The main screens also show Easy ESP above the results when orientation is set to normal. I have attached the photos of the unit when using inverted display... It a...

Right now unframed... it appears that both are loaded. Do I need to switch? Is there a tutorial that I cannot find to go back to the original OS?

Wemos display question...
I have been deploying a few Wemos devices with the tiny Wemos display the last couple of days. I am running v2.0-20180121 to have access to the SHT30 module. The display fonts are tiny 1 liners. How can I increase the font to the Arduino size 2? I had been using this with my MQTT code before and cou...

Hi from Illinois...
I am a 50 something guy that has made a strong investment in Hassio and automation this year. I got tired of trying to modify Arduino code to do what I wanted and decided to try ESPEasy with my various Wemos sensors. For the most part I love it. I have a couple of teens and work in networking at a U...
