Trigger an event using Node-Red
Hi to all, I've been playing around with "rules" to trigger an event within ESP8266. Although I can get the rule to trigger by sending the following URL, I can't work out what I should do in Node-Red to achieve the same result. http://192.168.1.31/control?cmd=event,triggerme I've pulled ou...

Re: OpenHAB MQTT option missing
Hi Krikk,
So this means my ESP8266 can only "talk" to ONE OpenHAB MQTT server?
Was there a reason to limit the number to one?
Thanks again for all your help.
Regards, David

Re: OpenHAB MQTT option missing
Hi Krikk,
Thanks for your response - which explains why I couldn't "see" it.
Cheers from David.

OpenHAB MQTT option missing
Hi to all,
I've just tried updating some of my ESP8266-based nodes to V2.0.0-dev7 and discovered that the OpenHAB MQTT option is missing in the Controllers menu.
I've checked all the versions from V2.0.0-dev4 and they all seem to have OpenHAB missing.
Kind regards from David.

Using Node-Red with ESP Easy
Hi, I'm trying to send text messages to an LCD panel connected to a WeMos D1 R2 via I2C using Node-Red. Although I can use the Command facility in ESP Easy's Tools menu to send text to the LCD, I can't seem to figure out the equivalent syntax for Node-Red. I've tried variations on a theme of... /wem...

Re: Hello from Switzerland
Hi to Luca, I've just joined the forum after discovering ESP Easy - great piece of software/tools. Are you still using Node-Red as that is my current platform (running on a Raspberry Pi) ? I've managed to get a few ESP8266-based nodes (i.e. Witty and WeMos) running with MQTT and Node-Red The one tha...
