Re: ESP-01 not keeping settings
My ESP-01 is losing its settings after a reboot. All works great until I power down and back on again. I am able to access ESP on default 192.168.4.1, I change the AP settings to connect to my home wifi, get new IP address, update Domoticz IP settings, add device and get pulse count sending to Domo...

Re: problem with nodemcu devkit 1.0 and r39
Hi,
I do not know why this happens, but I had the same issue today.
Did you hit the reset button?
I solved it by first flashing 20, then 30 then 39. That worked. In 30 I also entered network address and devices.

@Martinus. Thanks. That's what i meant. @Deennoo. I tend to read carefully, but your remarks did not point out there is an issue regarding interference and possibly (but not likely) even damaging hardware. Just connecting RX to TX and TX to RX without level shifting is not a good idea. That will dam...

Re: ESP-EASY including SER2NET?
@Martinus How did you connect RFLink to the ESP in SER2NET mode? Quite simple, just like you would connect a 5V FTDI to an ESP-01. RX to TX, RX to TX, using some sort of level shifting. As far as I know, RFLink uses only one serial port for communication and that one is connected with the USB devic...

Support dust sensor
As of R041the GP2Y10 Dust sensor is being supported.
I am working on the support of the PPD42 dust sensor, but I am also interested in the performance of the GP2Y10.
Furthermore, I like to know what type of device is chosen in Domoticz?

Hi,
Four questions:
1 what type of device did you create?
2 are you using passwords while accessing Domoticz?
3 Did you select Domoticz HTTP in the Config Tab?
4 Do you see values appear in the Devices tab?

Interesting ... should be possible with a electrolytic capacitor in series with the GPIO and the relay. I never tested it, so I cannot tell you what capacitance must be used. I would be careful not to blow the GPIO port. Something like this : https://www.dropbox.com/s/xbqpegibeu677bt/Bipolair.jpg?dl...

Re: Static IP config
When you decide to give a device a fixed IP address, you have to make sure that address is outside the DHCP range of your router. That is not necessarily one number higher than the one provided by the DCHP server. for example, I changed the setup of my wifi router such that the DHCP range is from 19...

Re: HC-SR04 implimentation with OpenHAB (looking for recomendations)
You can also use a small signal diode (like 1n4448 or 1n914) or schottky diode, with the anode connected to the ESP input and the cathode to the HC-SR04 output. The internal pull-up resistor pulls the input to 3.3 v level at a logic 1 and the HC-SR04 pulls the ESP input down to a logic 0 level. It w...

The ULN2803 consists of 8 darlington drivers with open collector outputs. On the output side (right end) they can sink up to 500 mA and can withstand up to 50 volts. The output is the reverse of the logic level on the input side (left). So a logic 1 on the input will make the output go low. There is...

That is correct but the ESP then acts as an access point. just moved to R31. Looks fine so far, but also with R30 on a NodeMcu 1.0 (with BMP180, DHT22, 1 DS18B20 on the board and 1 DS18B20 via cable) I had no problems.
On R29 I had to give both DS18B20 the same device number, but as of R30 that was no longer necessary.
