Yet another cheap chinese sensor

#1 Post by negan » 23 May 2016, 21:33

Hello,

Another cheap chinese sensor to improve the support of :

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/433-MHz- ... 05601.html

It's detected as Eurodomest and, each time i trigger it, i see 2 "Off" commands in Domoticz log.
(uSec)=270,780,210,750,810,180,210,750,780,180,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,810,180,210,750,210,750,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,780,780,180,210,750,210,6990;
20;3C;Eurodomest;ID=0d4bce;SWITCH=02;CMD=OFF;
20;3D;DEBUG;Pulses=30;Pulses(uSec)=270,750,210,750,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,780,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,780,180,210,780,210,6990;
20;3E;DEBUG;Pulses=24;Pulses(uSec)=270,720,750,150,750,180,180,720,210,720,210,720,750,180,750,180,180,750,780,180,210,750,210,6990;
20;3F;DEBUG;Pulses=32;Pulses(uSec)=720,180,180,720,180,720,180,720,180,720,750,180,750,180,180,720,180,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,780,180,210,780,210,6990;
20;40;DEBUG;Pulses=50;Pulses(uSec)=240,780,210,750,780,180,210,780,810,180,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,780,180,210,750,210,750,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,780,210,750,210,750,780,180,780,180,210,750,780,180,210,780,210,6990;
20;41;Eurodomest;ID=0d4bce;SWITCH=02;CMD=OFF;
A "On" then an "Off" command would be nice ;)

Thank you.

Please note that cheap PIR devices only send out 1 signal.
This signal just reports the detection of "movement"
There is no distinct ON or OFF notification.
Normally home automation programs can automatically flip/reset the state after x seconds or x minutes.

The fact that you have two times the "off" packet in the log is because either the PIR is sending data for a very long time (more than a few seconds) or because it was still detecting movement.
The only fix we can make in this case is to have it report "ON".

The more expensive PIR's, like Chacon send on and off and have a setting on the device itself to set the duration after which it will send the OFF signal.

Thanks for answering.
I was expecting such answer. I'm mainly troubled by the "OFF" signal instead of "ON".
With a "ON" Signal, i could turn it to OFF within Domoticz after few seconds.
With a "OFF" one, i don't think it's possible.

Maybe with a LUA script to invert the value ?
Or would you invert it within the RFlink firmware ?

Thank you.

The idea is to have a fix from OFF to ON within the firmware..
