Hi,
My single RFLink is not covering my entire house. Is there a way to extend or relay the signal?

Maybe you can try to use a better antenna or find a better place for the antenna?
Also using a metal (ground)plate under the antenna can help to improve the efficiency of your antenna.
Usually bigger antenna's give longer range (assuming it is constructed following the rules for proper antenna design)
I have read that some people had good results with the RH770 antenna for 433MHz remotes . (I have not tried it myself).

Relaying a 433MHz signal in your house is not very likely to succeed.

Re: Range extender
Hi, thanks for your reply.
I could try another antenna, but does this also increase the sensitivity?
The ground plane is already in place.
Normally I would agree that relaying an RF signal is not easy, but in this case this could be solved with a repeater like this:

but it is limited to only coco/kaku and 6 devices.
What was really looking for is a way to use a second RFLink and make sections.

Re: Range extender
Sure an antenna increases it's effective power output when sending and when receiving it increases it's sensitivity (but only in the preferred direction, antenna gain is always directional)BertB wrote:Hi, thanks for your reply.

I think you can use a second RFLink, connected to Domoticz, in another room/floor.
In Domoticz each RFLink will/must have a different name/IDX and each RFLink will serve only those devices that are created using that gateway.
Most signals will be received and sent to Domoticz by both gateways, but only one of the two will be recognized in Domoticz.
