Falmec encoding

#1 Post by shira66@gmx.at » 08 Oct 2020, 12:45

I am still trying to get the falmec (hood) to work.
so far i found out:
- rflink detects 1 remote as falmec but another remote Not

- when analzing the timings (on the pi) it looks like manchester but the two remotes have different clocks
450 us vs 500 us

- using the "10;FALMEC;7900;ON;" command on the rflink has NO effect on the hood
- generating the same pulse sequence as sampled has NO effect on the hood but is detected as FALMEC on the rflink (sender and RFLINK are separate hardware)
Tried both clocks (450 and 500)

- when analyzing the sample i found that some of the pulse duration are way off (also note that the sampling on the pi has an error margin)

My question now:
- is the falec protocol based on manchester ?
- is the sync time crucial for the en/decoding
- what do i miss ???

Thank for your comments in advance
