Is RF Link even supported and maintained anymore?

Honest question.

Is anyone actually actively supporting and maintaining RFLink?

I have put up a question last month asking about pairing a Somfy blinds and have not received any responses from any of the developers on my question. Maybe because the device is not supported? But new device types come out all the time, and it appears that there is little or no activity for supporting new devices.

So if not, who not open source the code again so that at least we can all give it a go ourselves rather than waiting endlessly for our devices maybe getting supported? Is there so much secret sauce in the code that it can't be released to the public?

Seems a little odd... also not sure if the developers have anything to do with nodo-shop.nl, but they are still bringing in money for their boards, which will become more and more useless as new devices are created, but not supported by RFLInk.

In my previous post I have offered to send debug logs for pairing and all, but no response from any of the mods or developers.

Please help us out.

Let us know if we will ever see support for these new device types, or any support at all. Or at the very least open source the code so we can have a go ourselves. No?

Cheers

G./

I'm not the supporter of RF Link, but I do see quite a number of replies from Stuntteam on questions regarding RF link.
So -to me- it doesn't look like an abandoned project at all.

Not dead at all, but email is still flooded by support requests.
We are working on it and provide test versions where needed.
I am not sure when there will be a new release but it will come for sure.

I believe that the code is no longer available because the manufacturers do not want their coding to be public.

If there is a test version, I'm interested to see if it allows me to capture some new probes purchased.

Correct, at least someone got it.
Case closed!
