I'm glad you guys are eager. The 2.1 needs to be out of the box before I will interfere with my GUI :)

And I do still have to get some money paying my bills so extra "here and there" jobs are still important = takes the time off of fun stuff.

Yes, as you can see on the forum and GitHub, we are very active in development and support for ESPEasy.
So all Patreon money is more than welcome as it allows for less time spent on "billable hours" which not always result in ESPEasy time :)

Just to give an impression of my "working days".
As mentioned before here on the forum, I did start my own company to develop rapid prototypes.
For these prototypes I use ESPEasy.

The business model is really simple.
- Hours spent on the client product directly are billed at 100%
- Hours spent on software development which is allowed to end up in the Open Source GitHub are billed at 50%.
- I try to make enough money to pay the bills and have enough time left for working on ESPEasy.

So the "side income" like Patreon, make it easier for me to decide to work on ESPEasy instead of billable hours.

I cannot agree more with TD-er. Since I'm the frontend developer (and he's the backend developer) I have a bit different "work day":

Building digital workflows for companies.
Some sensor for data collection for these companies
Improving the GUI engine (which is ready for released once we've released the 2.1 version)
Sell SenseAir sensors for low number orders.

The patreon money have been spent on some online test suits https://crossbrowsertesting.com/ and buying hardware. Thank you very much for this essential part of our income.

What is the procedure of making a donation. I am a fan of your platform and what to support it.BR

We do have several links in the readme, like Patreon, Ko-Fi and PayPal.

Besides making a donation, I could support you with the forum.
I'm working with phpBB more than 20 years, I guess I can call myself an expert with it.
For example, I've founded the Board3 Portal extension (and running the support forum as well). One more example: the Harmony Remote Forum as a quite big forum of mine. The style is custom made by myself.

I could support you with administration / maintenance up to (ad-free) hosting the forum or even your entire website - if this would help and take some workload (and costs) off your shoulders.

All the best and thank you for this project!
