RGBW Stripes controlled via NodeMCU and DMX

#1 Post by 1CU » 29 May 2017, 09:12

Hello,

i´m a fresh user in home automatism and try to make some RGBW Stripes controlled via WLAN.

For this i have a NodeMCU v2 (https://www.amazon.de/seeedstudio-NodeM ... B01M6CXZQS) a WS DMX 8Ch Controller (https://www.amazon.de/Channel-Controlle ... s+dmx+8+ch) and RGBW Stripes (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01D1I ... UTF8&psc=1).

The stripes connected to the controller works with the Fun Mode.

Now i need to connect and programm the NodeMCU v2 so a DMX signal is available to supply the WS DMX Controller.

I read a lot of examples but its very difficult for me where to start???
I read a lot of MAX485 do i need this ones?

Would be great if someone can help me a little bit.
