Sending solar converter data directly to Domoticz?

Has anybody succeeded in connecting a solar converter (I have a Growatt 4200) to a Wemos D1 running ESP Easy to send converter data directly to a Domoticz system, in stead of sharing our data over the internet with Beijing? Can it be done?
