One ESP Max sensors

#1 Post by Dylantje » 15 Jan 2016, 22:58

I want to use for my pellet stove make a multisensor with a ESP, in combination with Domoticz.

A door contact, door open, heater off
3 temp sensors, wall heater, chimney and pellet storage, etc.
Pellets empty, pressure ignition.
Co sensor,
etc etc

But to get my pellet stove on and off should I give a command of 2-3 seconds
Is there a possibility that the esp2866 little longer give a command.

I should probably make a contact of 2-3 seconds to turn the stove on or off..
For example..
3 seconds contact stove on, 3 seconds contact stove off.

If I understand you correctly you need to active a relay for 3 seconds to active a feature? That should work with the "pulse" feature on the GPIO
See http://www.esp8266.nu/index.php/GPIO

Interesting project - I would guess that you would need some kind of thermocouple to measure the chimney temperature as the temperature limits of the DS18B20 is probably too low
