Wishlist request: Lock general settings in web GUI

Good day devs,
One of my future wishlist requests for easyesp is to lock the general settings of the software.

To administrate several devices, I wish I'm able to lock all settings, but give my private clients the possibility to change the wifi credentials and see the statuspage of the Webinterface.

This prevent the clients from missconfiguration of the devices.

What do you think about the idea?

I already know to lock all function with a password/username combo, but that completely hide all parameters of the unit.

Yep it's on the wishlist already.

Curious though, what type of product do you create and what type of clients do you have?

Nothing special, all private.
My dad got some sensors for his pool, my mother got something for her plants and a friend of mine got a security camera.
But they all haven't any experience with the hardware or the software itself.
It all communicates with my own server, but if somebody changes the wifi network, I have to change the settings behind for them.
