How to configure Blynk

#1 Post by Tobi993 » 15 Aug 2020, 16:18

Hello

I was looking for an iOS App to control and read EasyESP, so I landed at Blynk.

Seems easy, but I have no idea what to fill in at EasyESP Locate controller IP adress or URL and Port.
Where I get this from? And where I fill in this token?
I downloaded the App, created an account and started a project and got this token.
But I have no idea how to set this controller in EasyESP.

Are there other better free Apps?

Thank you!

Well, I don't know of any other projects running on an ESP and using Blynk.

What do you have so far?
I assume the ESPEasy firmware is now flashed on an ESP module?
What have you tried to configure via the web interface on the ESP module?
What build (filename) have you flashed to the ESP, as not all builds include the Blynk controller.

I have flashed the test firmware, that is the only one, where is blynk included.
My question ist just, what do I have to fill in at the blynk controller setting.

I'm sorry, but I haven't used Blynk myself, so I don't really know what you may be missing if the most obvious settings apparently don't seem to work.
Maybe someone else with experience with Blynk can help here?

Just looking at the source code, does seem this controller uses HTTP.
So maybe you can also check "SendToHTTP wait for ack" (in the Tools=>Advanced page)
