Send WemosD1 data to other wemosD1 via domoticz

#1 Post by planedo79 » 06 May 2021, 11:25

Hi,

How can I get the reading to be shown in the wemos that has LCD attached? Or is it even possible?

1. I can get the reading to from "WEMOS TEMP SENSOR" to "Domoticz homeautomation server"

2. How do I configure "WEMOS LCD TEMPERATURE" to get the info? Or do I need to send the data somehow from domoticz directly?

both wemos MCU:s have EspEasy Mega Firmware

If they are in the same IP subnet, you can also use the ESPEasy p2p controller as described here:
https://espeasy.readthedocs.io/en/lates ... #c013-page

Please read carefully the steps in that description, as it is easy to overlook the importance of having an unique node nr (not 0, not 255)

Hi TD-er,

Thanks. It took a bit time to understand everything I read but I think I have it working now. :)

this helps a lot now that I have more knowledge for my next hobby projects and only your imagination is the limit (still when I learn more of course)

So no limits there then :)
What I find the most rewarding to see is that users may come up with use cases I never thought of, so the imagination is absolutely no limit.

Just as for an astronomer would seem rather unambitious, to call it "the sky is the limit", I would say there are no limits here too :) (apart from what fits on the flash....)
