Hello, everyone :)

I want to ask everyone and especially LisaM what is uPyEasy status?
Will there are new releases? What is happening with this project?
Thank you!

Best regards,
D. Ivanov

Hi,

It's still very much alive, although for a longer time there has been no update here. The code base has been revamped completely to make it faster, more stable and less memory consuming, since it's going to be used in it's first commercial (hardware) product. The last few bugs are now being investigated and solved. 4 teams are now very busy trying to meet the deadlines, which are now less then a month away...
In a few weeks there will be a big announcement regarding uPyEasy.

Cheers,

Lisa

Thank you for the update Lisa, will the code be available to us as well, and under what licence?

Most part yes, some part not due to the fact that sensitive data is in there (such as the Azure protocol driver which contains keys). The AurAir hardware can be reprogrammed using the open-source software. The Azure protocol driver will only be available as a binary, but can be used in the open source version. Beware that the azure protocol driver will ONLY work on AurAir hardware!
The license will be open-source, non-commercial. This is to protect my young startup from being competed to death with our own source code... ;)
