Come watch us at our Kickstarter campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/au ... -quality-m
Or at our website https://www.aurair.eu

Why?

Because:
  • We’re Open Source! Flash the AurAir with your own adapted source code! We give you our source code AND expect help from us ;)
  • Replaceable sensors, not happy with the sensors on the AurAir? Use others!
Together with LetsControlIt we have some BIG surprises for you the next few weeks! 8-)

It's been shared in the Swedish FB group of "Home Automation". Good luck!

Birth woes apart, top.

Question :
Specs say plug 7/7 and socket 7/3

If I have it right, this is still usable in most of EU, as a 7/7 plug is compatible with earth pin or the 2 earthing clips “German” variant.

As far as I know, the module is using the so called "type F" socket.
Germany is listed on that page.

Too bad those plugs differ all over the world, but even worse is that they are using so many names for them.
I am not sure if the different names also imply some change in details.

It’s called a hybrid plug, the problem is that the plug is compatible but the socket isn’t (no separate earth pin which is officially required). So.... we officially say it’s unsuitable for france and other EU countries which use type E plug... ;)

For more information: https://www.worldstandards.eu/nl/elektr ... -stekkers/

We even took a prototype to the USA and there it worked just fine (use a world converter plug/socket) 8-) .
