Slow response after several commands

I'm currently using build 78 on a Wemos D1Mini, and after a few commands are sent the ESP slows down and takes several seconds to respond.
For example:
Relay1 ON - fast
Relay2 ON - fast
Relay3 ON - fast
Relay4 ON - delay
Relay5 ON - delay
Relay1 OFF -delay
Relay2 OFF - delay
Wait for a few seconds until all commands are processed then send more commands
Relay3 OFF - fast
Relay4 OFF - fast
Relay5 OFF - fast
Relay1 ON - slow

I can see the commands pass through the broker immediately, is this a bug in build 78?

It is not a bug, it is normal behavior for a TCP-ip connection. Reliability is more important than speed.

I've just reflashed with the same released version and started again. Now the response is immediate.
