ESP easys HTTPS Domoticz

#1 Post by the cosmic gate » 23 Aug 2016, 22:30

Because some serious security issues i changed everything within domoticz to https acces only.
So is there a way to config esp easy connecting to https ?
I tried everything : set protocol to http -> then use hostname -> then typed https://my.domain/com and set port to 443 , without result
used IP adres set port 443 , no result .

Is there one work around when using this , or do i need to look for some solution in domoticz and open http acces again

i think httpS (secure http) is not build into ESPeasy now.
may the devs correct me.

but i could be, if i read this right on this long thread.
https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino/issu ... -115933657

but i think there is some work to do, if one wants that into ESPeasy.
on most homeautomation-networks one can use virtual-lans on switch-level to have some security.
if this is the concern. maybe there are ways to have http AND https on domotics.
i dont use domoticx, so i cant help you more..sorry.
