Wemos D1 Mini - cannot connect after 1st boot

#1 Post by papperone » 04 Oct 2016, 23:27

Hi,

I'm quite new to ESPEasy but I've some experience using ESP8266/Wemos module for home automation system.
reading about this firmware wanted to test it if it can fits my need but I'm stuck even before starting :(
Step done so far:

1) Download ESPEasy 120
2) installed libraries in Arduino IDE
3) Compile and upload, all OK
4) connect to ESP_0 SSID with my tablet, using default password in the sketch (configesp)
5) Got the page at 192.168.0.4 where I select my WiFi SSID, enter my password
6) got a screen telling "ESPEasy configured, device IP is 192.168.1.105"

That's so far, from this point no way to connect to the ESP for config; I see that IP in my router but from any browser, any pc/tablet I have it does not accept connection.
I tried to completely erase the module, reflash with 108, back 120, then 134, back 120, every time same story.
Being fed up I took a brand new Wemos (I've bunch of them) tried and... same story; just to make sure I'm not faceing bad Myrphy's law, took a 3rd module but situation did not change.
I took the same 3 modules and flashed with different sketches I use in my system and they all works just fine.

Conclusion is I'm doing somethign weird with ESPEasy or I do miss somethign very, very stupid... Anyone that can help?

Just to add that on the serial after the first config of SSID I see the ESPEasy feedback of boot, then just a line time to time telling me boottime and memory.
I cannot even send commands via serial as the device is not reacting at all...

No worries, yes it's same as yours beside I don't have EVENTS.
It connects, init I2C, Book=OK and Normal Boot; then it starts to print out just boot time and memory.
I tried to send commands via serial but no reaction, I cannot reach it on the web (I see it in the router IP mapping so he got IP via DHCP) but the webpage goes timeout.
No need to say I tried HTTP command and they all go timeout :( I'm really lost!

hi, I think I understood that problem is generated by one of the access point I use regularly.
with my sketches I am able to connect to those AP but not with ESPEasy apparently (it connects but does not communicate).
I swtiched to the 2nd floor AP and by magic now all works!
I've no explanation to the phenomena but it's there and repeatable...
Anyhow problema is Solved even with workaround :)
