Can I send variables between nodes?

#1 Post by burton666 » 06 Dec 2016, 08:14

I have tried connected a temp sensor and a display to a wemos d1 mini and it works perfect. But is it possible to connect a sensor to a node and have a display connected to another node that recieves the data from the first node?

Edit: I just read the LCD wiki, Can I just use : "http://<ESP IP address>/control?cmd=lcd,<row>,<col>,<text>" and place the variables in the text field? I am not at home so I can not try it yet my self.

You could also try MQTTImport available in the playground.... I think it will do what you want.

Check out http://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/index ... _Variables . Using the event system, you can send variables to other nodes. Also you can use Globaly sync and activate in the relevant Device, last section seems to meet your demands http://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/index ... GlobalSync
Domoticz on Raspi 2 -- 14 ESP units (hacked Sonoff,NodeMCUs, Wemos, self-built units) running with RC140- Mega 2.0.0 dev8
