ESPEasy Mega - Pulse counter values

#1 Post by nick-head » 27 Dec 2016, 11:59

Hi All,

Does anyone know if you can send separate time values to Domoticz that were obtained by the Pulse Counter.

I see Delta, Delta/Total/Time and Total only. I need the Time values only and can't find how to do it.

I have tried all combinations but no luck, I may be missing something really simple.

I am using the value for a kW meter to show kW's used at that time, it woks on the OLED but cannot send
it to Domoticz.

Regards

Nick

Thanks for the help.

Had to do a re-write on the source-code, but, it works.

Yay, finally, and it talks to Domoticz as I intended to do in the first place.

I am using the ESPEasy-Mega Version 147 Experimental.

This code replaces the original Pulse Counter within the source code.

I am not even sure I modified it in the correct way / legal code and the like, however it is working
as I want it for now, don't know about long term, but it's the best I can do because the help wasn't
too forthcoming.

I will mod it later to create it's own plugin and re-instate the original Pulse Counter for compatibility.
Maybe some-one later on in the future will do a proper plugin, or give me a few tips on what
actually to do as I haven't got much of a clue other than experimentation.

Iv'e changed it over to Plugin P012 now, so it can run with P003.
If anyone wants to mess about with it and make it better.

Hi, where I can find a plugin please and how to setup domoticz?
Basically I would like to measure time when my termostat light is on and put formula in espeasy to get wattage.
Then send to domoticz.
