ESP Easy on a Wemos D1 Mini Pro

#1 Post by randytsuch » 06 Jun 2017, 00:25

I just bought a few Mini Pro's.

I tried to load with R120, 4096 file size, and it didn't work. ESP_0 did not come up.

So, I setup Arduino for ESP devices, and loaded the pro with the Arduino tools, and it worked fine.

Is this normal? Is this because of the larger flash memory size in the pro?

Curious because I searched, and didn't find anything that said I had to use the Arduino tools with the mini pro.

I'm actually glad I was forced to load the Arduino tool set, lets me tweak ESP Easy if I need any special logic for my projects.

Also would like to say I really am grateful for this project. Between the Wemos boards and this software, makes a really easy and fairly inexpensive way to add functionality to my domoticz setup.

Hi

I am using wemos d1 pro mini. It works well. After flashing, try to connect serial monitor in arduino. If I remember well you will see numbers running up for about 2min, then it reboots, then esp0 appears.
Domoticz on Raspi 2 -- 14 ESP units (hacked Sonoff,NodeMCUs, Wemos, self-built units) running with RC140- Mega 2.0.0 dev8
