Failed to get a AP/Hotspot

#1 Post by OzGrant » 21 Nov 2017, 05:55

G’day,
Am a newbie, and yet to get past the init flash stage.
Ran the flash (with correct port, size 4096 and build 120) but unable to get a AP/ hotspot
The flash.cmd shows no errors and the WeMos D1 mini V2 Led blinks while flashe.cmd is executing.
After a reset I get the following o/p:
---------------------------------
A line of junk characters
Init: Booting Build nr:120
Wifi: No SSID
Init: I2C
Init Boot OK
Init: Normal boot
A minute later get
WD: Uptime 0 ConnectionFailure 0 FreeMem 27016
----------------------------
What dumb thing am I doing wrong
Tks

Not sure but you may program the unit to your WiFi by sending those commands over the serial communication.
ESP Easy Flasher [flash tool and wifi setup at flash time]
ESP Easy Webdumper [easy screendumping of your units]
ESP Easy Netscan [find units]

G'day,
So what you are saying, is that I can type commands over the serial connection that is currently displaying:
-----------------------------------------------------------
WD : Uptime 59 ConnectionFaiures 0 FreeMem 26568
-------------------------------------------------------------
Have tried a few inputs on the serial but with no response.
What commands should I send?

Grant
