The problem:
Tools -> Save saves the config.dat file only.
Rules and notification files are not saved. Therefore, they aren't restored when you load config.dat back to the ESP.
Workaround (WA):
Backup:
Tools -> Flash -> Click on config.dat, notification.dat, rulesX.dat (X is 1 to 4 depends on number of sets you're using).
Restore:
Tools -> Load -> Choose file (config.dat) -> Upload.
Tools -> Flash -> Upload -> choose notification.dat and rulesX.dat (one file at the time).
Tools -> Reboot.

Grovkillen, I too make very good use of both your flasher & webdumper, great time savers
Both cool tools
I have tried 3 times to load 3 different ESPEasyUploaderMega_1024.bin type firmwares to do OTA firmware updates
- they finish with the message upload success - but then never start properly..
connecting to serial shows they are really dead after uploading, the uploader
Maybe is time for OTA tool haha
Again appreciate the time you have spent making our lives easier,
Cheers !

Re: Save/restore ESPEasy configuration: prob/WA
I found the cause of why OTA has not been working on Sonoffs !
I have made a custom uploader & a full set of every ESPeasy firmware I could find.. as DOUT..
Now able to downgrade & upgrade OTA no problems anymore..
Looking for difference in behaviour between each firmware release to see which had a negative impact over time..
My 'debug firmware set' will let me swap firmwares in seconds, without pulling everything apart to attach serial cable, argh...
From ESPEasy_R78_1024_DOUT.bin to current
Maybe I am missing some ?
47 in total, will need to check change logs
