ESP Wifi Gone after saving settings

#1 Post by tpz » 02 Apr 2018, 09:57

I successfully flashed esp easy to my touch wall switch.
Also I was able to setup my wifi settings, and open the http://EASYESPIP/ web control
I can already issue command manually through http://EASYESPIP/control?cmd=GPIO,13,1 and so on

Trying to enable device, (referring from this guide - https://www.letscontrolit.com/wiki/inde ... ch_002.PNG)
When I hit submit, it just hangs and then i cannot open http://EASYESPIP/ anymore.
Tried flashing it again, and it was successful, however ESP_WIFI is not showing this time(same firmware i used but it was working before i did not enable device or hit the submit button)

I am wondering why the wifi is not functioning after I submit settings in the devices.

I was thinking my touch switch has been broken, so I tried again with a new touch wall switch.
Everything works fine again, but after submitting settings in the "devices" menu, it does not work again.

I tested 2 touch wall switch and everything works fine at first.

This is the product i used,
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Ewe ... 78982.html

and its showing PSF-B85.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks a lot!

If you're on Windows you could try my Flasher and use the serial monitor to see what the unit is doing.

im not sure what is the exact manufacturer of the hardware, but I can see PSF-B85 and Im guessing this is a ESP 8285, since i used ESP_Easy_mega-20180402_normal_ESP8285_1024.bin

Yep 8285...
ESP_Easy_mega-20180402_normal_ESP8285_1024.bin listed as 608K in size.
Ok watching from side lines

Hmm, did you use the pause function to reboot the device right after the flash? I didn't seem like it from the flash log. Might help?

Could you try -just as a test- the PUYA firmware version?
