esp32 m5stack

#1 Post by r_255 » 27 Jul 2018, 09:32

Just received my m5 stack, its around for a while and original was 8266 based but now contains a esp32 for a while.
It is a nice developers board hooked on to to a small 320x240 lcd display ( no touch ), battery and a few buttons. Also all ports are available in the standard bottom stack with pinheaders so its easy to hook up a sensor or device.

The fun of the m5 is that it is stackable and does not look like a dev board. It has a nice case and modules like lora, gps, motor, gsm, battery ext. or a proto board can be stacked nice and easy.
It could be a nice solution. it's not the cheapest esp32 board, but its like almost finished and with not to much efforts it could be a nice 3 button mqtt remote.

It seems to run micropython ( did not test that ) so in the end it would be kewl to get uPyEasy running on this so more people can enjoy hardware the easy way!

I am still waiting for my order to receive. (I thought ordering via Amazon.de would be faster and they estimated a much shorter delivery time..... :( )
Indeed, it looks like a very nice platform.
