deep sleep with manual wake up - how?

#1 Post by TungstenE2 » 05 Dec 2018, 18:45

Hi all,

I am on mega-20181204 on Wemos D1 mini.

I want my D1 mini to wake up from deep sleep if door bell is pressed and to trigger FHEM to have my phones via Fritzbox ringing.

In general the door bell is conected via PC817 to D1 mini and I see status change correctly.

Now I want to conect this to RST instead of GPIO in order to wake up from deep sleep and to trigger a rule.

My question is how to set deep sleep correct for this.

In wiki 'Sleep delay' = 0 is mentioned, but menu in mega-20181204 does not have this setting in config.

How do I set deep sleep correct with manual wake up by RST pulled to GND?

Sleep time should be the time it should sleep. (Sleep) Awake time is the time it should be awake to negative ä broadcast. So in your setting I would have awake time set to 10. Sleep time to 0 (or if you want it to wake once in a while to broadcast battery power you could have it set to 3600 (once an hour)?

I know the wiki is being converted to RTD (read the docs) and I will update all info to be on same level as the code. You need to connect D0 to high (VCC/3.3V) for the unit to go into deep sleep.
