Hi
Finally got contact with my NODE flashed with ESPEasy.
Followed the guide on the wiki for the PIR.. however the NODE doesnt seem to output 5v for the PIR??
The guide show it needs 5v but I have no 5v pin on the NODE?
Ive actually got the pir to work wit another code but didnt get connection to www with that code so this is why I try this FW..
But I dont know how we actually got the PIR to work on NODE before??.. I have it conncted to D6 now for signal and 3v3 (guess that is the 3,3v NODE is suppose to output) and GND.
Nothing happens..
??
What to do?

Which NodeMCU module are you using ? I have yet to see one w/o 5v support !!

Yep VIN is 5V. @OP: You can use a multimeter and look yourself.

yay, VIN gives out about 5v.. still didn't get any reactions from the boards?.. Was waiting to get a LED blink or something when waving my hand in front of the PIR..
Followed the guide even if it doesn't looks exactly like the newest FW i guess...

Re: NODEmcu and PIR
Check the log (tools tab) when the PIR fires shows there in (almost) real time

Re: NODEmcu and PIR
And you might need to turn the sensitivity up or down (often a blue potentiometer). Also the time to stay high can be adjusted with another nob.

Re: NODEmcu and PIR
The PIR is handled as a switch.
You won't se a blinking LED or such as long as you just configure the switch.
Use the usb of the nodeMCU and monitor the serial output.
It should show an event on triggering the switch.
If it does not show anything check the log level in the ESPEasy settings.
You may do another check:
- Disconnect the data connection between PIR and nodeMCU.
- Use a jumper cable, connect it to the GPIO you use.
- Start serial monitoring via USB.
- Alternating touch 3.3V and GND with the other end of the jumper cable.
This should give a reaction if the nodeMCU is setup correctly.
If this works check jumper and potentiometer settings of your PIR.
Which type of nodeMCU and PIR do you use?
