Hi, would it be possible with a rule to disable the wifi on a button click and enable it again on a second click?
Thanks for suggestions.

Re: Disable wifi with button
You can use wifi connect and disconnect to disable connection. But the wifi module will still be active. What are you wanting to accomplish?

Re: Disable wifi with button
Thank you for the reply.
I would like to disable the wifi module in the night time.
Could I use modemsleep?
The next best thing would be to enable deep sleep during the night time.

If you don't want the units active during night I'd say that deep sleep is the way to go.

Re: Disable wifi with button
The best thing would be an active unit without wifi as it has an lcd and buttons that work offline.
If that is not possible I will think of a solution with deep sleep.
I guess it would need to wake up from time to time then to check if the "active" condition is met.
