Problem store rules on last mega version

I use the latest version of V2.0, but from time to time I'm trying to check if my rules will work on the current version of the mega firmware.
Unfortunately, what works correctly on v2.0 does not work on the mega version.
Today, however, I have found that I can not even save the rules from my version V2.0 in the mega version.

OK, I see that when you use a recent ESP Easy release that the rules are lost when you save them. I also experience this same issue on recent releases (since a couple months ago). So you are not alone.
My workaround is to re-paste the rule text, then save them again. Sometimes the rules will save, but is missing the last few lines. 100% success requires dozens of attempts and much hair pulling. And once a complete rule file is saved, I avoid making any changes.
I do not believe anyone has officially reported this as a bug. Tag, you're it.

This is and has been an ongoing issue. Best way around it is to use your favorite text editor and use the tools > filesystem on flash page to upload the rules file.

Good to see the issue was officially reported on github last year. It's a frustrating bug, too bad it's still ongoing.
