Wifi compatibility issue

#1 Post by jme » 13 May 2019, 12:07

Hi,

I'm using a Keraky Acces point flashed with openwrt firmware on it.

The wifi works very wel in my house.

When i try to connect the ESP8266 with espeasy on it, it can't connect to that wifi.
SSID is open, iv'e try to create a SSID with WPA 2 but i have the same issue.

Wifi is detected by esp easy but never connect.

I've set a second ap as fall back wich is a Fritzbox, and it always connect on it.

Does anyone has same kind of issues ?
Any idea if it's espeasy firmware related or something wrong in the ap setup ?

Thx

What channel is it using?

Does it enforce some strict connectivity rules, like only 40 MHz channel bandwidth, only 802.11N etc?
